David Rückel is founder and managing partner of PIA.
Prior to starting PIA in 2015 he held senior positions structuring and placing investment funds for German regulated managers. He was Deputy Head of Sales with Hamburg Trust REIM and Head of Institutional Business for Catella Real Estate KAG. From 2008 until 2012 he was Managing Director at Wells Real Asset Management. In this role he headed the European efforts in structuring investment vehicles and raising capital for the subsidiary of the US SEC-regulated real estate manager Wells Real Estate Funds. He started his career in 2005 in project finance for Oppenheimer Investments in New York.
Mr. Rückel attained his Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in International Affairs from the George Washington University, Washington D.C. and an Executive Master in Real Estate from the International Real Estate Business School (IREBS) at the University of Regensburg, Germany.
Achim Pütz is managing partner at PIA. He was a member of the Advisory Board for many years. He advises PIA in regards to structuring European regulated and unregulated investment vehicles as well as structured alternative investment solutions.
He served as Partner at Luther Rechsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH. Prior to that he was Managing Partner of the Frankfurt Office of Dechert, LLP where he headed the financial services group in Germany. He has extensive experience in advising both German and international clients on traditional and alternative fund structuring, structured debt products and all aspects of complex alternative structures. Mr. Pütz is recognized as a leading lawyer in his field by several independent legal directories, including PLC Which Lawyer? Yearbook, Who’s Who Legal, Best Lawyers in Germany and Chambers Europe. Best Lawyers in Germany 2018 listed him among the leading lawyers in the areas of Investment and Investment Funds. JUVE Handbook recognized Luther as “Law firm of the year 2019”.
Mr. Pütz is founder and chairman of the German Alternative Investment Association (BAI).
Friedrich Meinikat is Managing Director at PIA and responsible for the expansion of the PSO Platform through sourcing and managing Preferred Partners and the respective Investments as well as supporting Placement Advisory with the selection of new mandates.
He has gained experience on both sides, as real estate manager and as investor. Over the past ten years he worked six years as Executive Director in the family office of SAP Founder Hasso Plattner. Afterwards he consulted other investors on their European Real Estate strategy and worked as interim manager for real estate developers. His career started as Asset Manager for the Austrian conwert SE. He managed investments in different asset classes in a leading role until 2013.
Mr. Meinikat attained his Master degree from the University of Fribourg, Switzerland and an Executive Master in Real Estate from the International Real Estate Business School (IREBS) at the University of Regensburg, Germany.
Ines Linnemann is Director at PIA and responsible for Finance, Legal, Compliance and Operations.
Ms. Linnemann brings more than 10 years of international finance experience with a focus on financial planning & analysis to the team. Before joining PIA, Ines Linnemann spent four years as Head of Financial Planning & Analysis for Europe & Asia at PGIM Real Estate, a fund manager focused on institutional investors and global commercial real estate investments. Previously, she worked as Finance Business Partner at The Walt Disney Company (Germany) GmbH. In 2009 she started her career at KPMG Vienna in auditing, with a focus on trade and manufacturing.
Ms. Linnemann holds a Master’s degree in Social and Economic Sciences from the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration with a focus on Accounting & Auditing and Corporate Finance.
Alina Bikineyeva is Executive Director with PIA, supporting new partner and product selections.
Furthermore, she is responsible for product strategy, research and investment solutions project management.
Prior to joining PIA in 2016 Ms. Bikineyeva was a Senior Financial Analyst at The RADCO Companies, a US real estate investment management firm focused on value-add multifamily acquisitions. In 2011, she started her career at Wells Real Asset Management as a Project Manager responsible for developing and maintaining acquisitions and asset management processes and conducting in-depth analysis on US real estate and timber markets.
Ms. Bikineyeva holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Economics, with a focus on International Trade and Finance, from Emory University, Atlanta, GA. She has completed the Real Estate Economics and Finance certificate course from the London School of Economics and Political Science. Additionally, she finished the User Experience Design intensive program at General Assembly, Atlanta, GA.
Natascha Grams is Executive Director at PIA responsible for sales operations and marketing as well as growing family offices relations.
Previously Natascha Grams held a senior global leadership position at Hays, the world’s leading recruitment company. As Head of Global Key Account Management she implemented and led a global sales unit managing key strategic clients. The success of this function led to a structural change of the Hays Group from a localized company to a globally integrated provider.
In the course of her 16 year career, Natascha Grams held multiple leadership positions in sales and marketing at global companies and worked in New York, London and Zurich. Natascha Grams holds a master’s degree in English and French from University Heidelberg.
Charlotte Cesario is Senior Associate at PIA, supporting sales as well as investor and manager relations.
Prior to joining PIA in 2020, Ms. Cesario worked with a financial services firm for almost 10 years in operations, project management and event organization, liaising with the international network of the company. Previously she supported a real estate property manager.
Ms. Cesario is an office management clerk and holds a Bachelor Professional for Office and Project Organization. Furthermore, she is currently obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in Management and Digitalization.
Juanita Stevenson is an Associate at PIA supporting the Sales, Client Services, and Office Management departments.
Prior to joining PIA in 2022, Ms. Stevenson spent over seven years at Real I.S., an international asset manager, in administrative roles. Her responsibilities included supporting Institutional Fund Management, Corporate Development & Governance, and Asset & Fund Operations. Prior to that, she worked as an executive assistant for well-known international corporations, including a renowned Munich-based tour operator.
Ms. Stevenson studied business administration (specializing in tourism) at the Munich University of Applied Sciences and started a part-time training as a human resources manager.
Anthony Paap is an Analyst at PIA, working on market analysis, project due diligence as well as supporting marketing efforts for PIA, especially its investment solutions.
Prior to joining PIA in 2021, Mr. Paap started his career in the Insurance industry at Allianz, in underwriting, non-technical accounting, and economic research, before working at the Brunswick Group in public relations and crisis management consulting.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Sussex and a Master of Science in Political Economy of Europe from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
Laura Pacifico supports Sales and Events at PIA.
Prior to joining PIA in 2020 she worked in luxury e-commerce (myTheresa) in the Munich area. Before moving to Munich in 2014, Ms. Pacifico was raised and educated in the United States and received a Bachelor’s degree, in International Relations and German Literature and Language; as well as a minor in French Literature from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas.
During her high school and university years she had the chance to spend almost every summer and sometimes half-yearly stretches in the DACH region doing everything from marketing internships to waitressing in hotels in the Bavarian countryside, to giving tours at Herrenchiemsee castle.
Laura speaks five languages and is currently pursuing her Master of Science in International Relations and Global Studies at Northeastern University in Boston, MA. Furthermore, she is a certified life coach with the Austrian organisation called Future Coaching GmbH.
Seniz is a working student with PIA Pontis and is currently pursuing her Masters’ degree in Finance at the International School of Management in Munich. She first interned at PIA in 2021, before she decided to complete a semester abroad in Moscow. She has since then returned and taken on new responsibilities in 2022.
Jan is a working student with PIA Pontis and is currently pursuing his Bachelors‘ degree in Business Administration at the University of Augsburg. He first started working at PIA in 2021 and is supporting Sales among other responsibilities.
Dyrk Vieten is a member of the Advisory Board, focussing on German institutional and semi-institutional investors.
He is CEO and Partner at Ficon Financial Consultants, a specialized wealth manager in Düsseldorf. He is also a Partner at Keppler Asset Management. Prior to the aforementioned commitments, he served as Managing Director at Deka Vermögensmanagement. Deka took over LBB-Invest, where Dyrk had also acted as managing director. While at Deka and LBB, he was instrumental to structuring third-party asset manager platforms, and networking with and for German institutional investors.
Dyrk Vieten also serves as an Advisory Committee Member of the Deutsche Schutzvereinigung für Wertpapierbesitz e.V. (DSW), the German non-profit organisation for investor protection.
Felix Wallenhorst is member of the Advisory Board of PIA with a focus on product development as well as endowments and other semi-institutional investors.
He is an independent tax advisor and auditor with his own practice in Munich as well as partner and chairman of the advisory board of PIA Diversified Income MR GmbH.
With a diploma in mathematics, Felix Wallenhorst is an expert in the field of German law for non-profit organizations and investment management of non-profit organizations and high net worth individuals. He is on the board of several private equity firms, writes as textbook author for the Vahlen publishing house and is a sought-after speaker on investment management and tax optimization of investments.
His work focuses on integrated structuring of investments in real assets for non-profit endowments, wealthy private individuals and family offices in consideration of supervisory legislation, tax and business aspects.
Hermann Schormann is member of the Advisory Board with a focus on transatlantic real estate investments as well as family offices and high net worth individuals.
He is a tax advisor as well as Managing Partner of FO & C GmbH, which offers family office and consulting services. Furthermore, he serves as Managing Director of several real estate companies in the US and Germany.
Previously, Mr Schormann was Managing Director of the Heinz Nixdorf management entity for 12 years, where he lead the family office of the Nixdorf family. During this time, he filled a number of managing positions in investment and real estate companies in the US and Europe focusing specifically on the logistics sector.
The first twenty years of his career Mr Schormann held different management functions in auditing and tax advisory firms. He holds a German degree in Business Administration specializing in tax and internal auditing.
Peter de Haas
Peter de Haas
Peter de Haas is member of the Advisory Board with a focus on Benelux and Nordic markets.
He is Principal of De Haas Real Estate Advisory, an independent advisory business focused on product development of institutional real estate investment products as well as introduction of indirect and direct investment propositions to mainly international institutional investors. He started his business at the beginning of 2019. Previously, he served as Managing Director for Real Estate Product Management and Investor Relations at Barings, Cornerstone Real Estate Advisers and Protego Real Estate Investors for more than 12 years. Before that he worked at PGGM, most recently as a Senior Portfolio Strategist.
Peter is also a Member of the Advisory Board of Patrizia Multi Managers A/S.
Furthermore, Peter is a recognized speaker at international real estate conferences and has been involved with INREV in a variety of capacities. He was a fellow of the Amsterdam School of Real Estate (ASRE) for 13 years.
Peter holds a degree as Master of Real Estate (MRE) from the University of Amsterdam and is a Fellow of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (FRICS).
Mr. Bierich manages the arsago group, an asset management boutique for alternative investment products in Germany. He and his partners founded arsago in 2001 and have since invested roughly € 1 billion in German residential real estate property. Before forming arsago he was with J.P. Morgan for ten years. After forming the swap marketing team focused on interest rate derivatives, he became Head of Corporate Risk Management. Finally, in 1998 he took over responsibility as Geschäftsführer (managing director) for fixed income funds within J.P. Morgan’s asset management business in Frankfurt.
Mr. Bierich studied law at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in Munich and successfully completed the first state exam. Following he attained an MBA degree from Duke University, North Carolina.
Mr. Bierich currently serves on the supervisory board of Mercurius Real Estate AG.
